Do not buy this product. I have now gone through 2 in less than 3 years with the same issues described by other users. Eventually, the pump WILL get stuck on and will overheat and fail. Don't bother.

Death, Taxes and this pump going T.U. I have had to replace this pump on average every 18 months. The design of my furnace/AC is such that I really don't have a choice. This time I am going to try to rig a much larger pan so that the pump doesn't have to run as often.

Same exact issue as prior reviewers; unit gets stuck in run even when the pan is empty, melts, and fails.

Out of all the in pan options this is by far the best in pan pump. Beats little giant and hartell gave up on in pan pumps.

I've gone through 2 of these in the past 3 years - the pressure switch fails and the unit will not turn off even when the water level is low. Eventually, it overheats and the case starts to melt.

this pump has failed 5 years in a row. I bought a new furnace in 2011 and I have had to replace this pump every year since! I think this is a very, very poorly made product. Save your money! By the way this came with an American standard Gas furnace, and they will not help with this problem. I'm sorry I wasted my money on such poor products.
